Volunteering Opportunities with St Vincent’s

St Vincent’s relies on the help and commitment of volunteers who generously give their time and skills to support people in need across the local area.

You are certain to find a role to suit you. St Vincent’s has a wide range of different volunteer opportunities available across West Yorkshire as well as in the Support Centre including:

• IT tutor
• Debt adviser
• Admin assistant
• Café assistant
• Counsellor
• ESOL tutor
• Event organiser
• Shop assistant

All volunteering opportunities are open to anyone over 18 years of age. St Vincent’s takes a person centred approach, working together we can match your skills and aspirations to the right role for you.

You will have training on the job in a volunteer role. You will also have the opportunity to attend certificated courses to develop your skills and help reach your goals or career plans.

If you aren’t sure what sort of volunteer work is right for you, you can fill out a volunteer application form. The volunteering team can suggest roles that might be a good fit for your availability and interests.
